Kenya mission trip

Our recent mission trip to Kenya was a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness and the hunger for His Word among believers in East Africa. Over two weeks, our team had the privilege of partnering with local churches and witnessing incredible faith in action.

A Joyful Welcome

From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality of Kenyan believers. Despite facing significant economic challenges, these brothers and sisters in Christ welcomed us with open arms and generous hearts. Their joy in worship and dedication to prayer left a lasting impression on our entire team.

Evangelism and Discipleship

We spent our days conducting evangelistic outreach in villages where the Gospel had never been preached. Through open-air meetings, door-to-door visits, and children's programs, we shared the message of salvation. Many heard about Jesus for the first time, and we rejoiced as dozens made professions of faith.

Evenings were dedicated to discipleship training with local church leaders. We studied Scripture together, discussed practical ministry challenges, and prayed for wisdom and endurance. These leaders are the ones who will continue the work long after we've returned home, and investing in their spiritual growth is crucial.

Serving Together

Mission work is not about Western Christians "saving" people in other nations. It's about serving alongside local believers who are already faithfully laboring in their communities. In Kenya, we saw this partnership in action. Local pastors led the way, and we simply came alongside to encourage, support, and learn from them.

The Need Continues

While much progress is being made, the needs remain great. Churches lack basic resources like Bibles, hymnals, and teaching materials. Pastors often serve without salary, supporting their families through subsistence farming while shepherding their congregations. Many church buildings are simple structures in need of repair.

Your partnership through Maji.bible makes it possible to address these needs and support the vital work happening in Kenya and throughout East Africa. Together, we're bringing living water to spiritually thirsty communities and seeing lives transformed by the Gospel.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." - Matthew 9:37-38

How You Can Pray

  • Pray for new believers to grow in their faith and become disciples who make disciples
  • Pray for local pastors and church leaders as they face spiritual opposition and practical challenges
  • Pray for resources to provide Bibles and training materials in local languages
  • Pray for God to raise up more workers for the harvest in East Africa and around the world

Thank you for your prayers and support. Your partnership is making an eternal difference.
